FaceBook and Myspace are not dangerous if you know what you are doing. Matter in face I use these sites for networking and finding friends. You can choose your friends on the sites and they also choose you as well. These sites are good to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. You can put a blocker if they use certain terms or words such as profanity.

One of the great things about being able to discuss how recruiters can and should use Facebook and MySpace with a roomful of recruiters is that there is a huge difference in opinion. Some have never been to the sites but want to know what all the fuss is about. Some use them for background checking and I try to convince them not to. Some use them like quasi-resume banks and I applaud them but also give them a few words of caution.
